‘Performances Yves Klein’

During the exhibition Yves Klein. Theatre of the Void BOZAR is putting on quite a show with performances by celebrated Belgian and international artists such as Marvin Gaye Chetwynd, Jan Fabre, Alexandra Pirici & Manuel Pelmus, Miet Warlop, Nick Steur, Andros Zins-Browne, Ian Whittlesea etc.

Before performance art adopted a definite form in the established art world BOZAR opened the doors of the Centre for Fine Arts to proponents of ‘immaterial’ art. Along with the Halles de Schaerbeek and the Performatik festival BOZAR has already brought artists such as Robert Pacitti, Lloyd Newson, Laurie Anderson, Germaine Kruip and Orla Barry to Belgium.
