‘Sky H1 & Mika Oki (live A/V) - Kode9 “Escapology” live’

On Saturday we explore the realm of live visual and sonic experimentation in Terarken.  

Kode9, co-founder of the legendary Hyperdub label, presents his 2022 album Escapology live. The LP was the soundtrack to Astro-Darien, a video game that deploys science fiction to critique colonial history. Escapology features some of the producer's most paradigm-shifting material to date, burning pixelated Playstation-era imagery into asymmetric club sounds.  

Visual artist, musician and DJ Mika Oki and producer SKY H1 combine forces again to present Chromaesthesia. The audiovisual show is a sonic and visual experience where music and colours are inextricably tied to one another. The performance invites us to experience the music on a molecular level and see each frequency as a pigment of colour and as a projection of our inner space. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
