‘Roomful of Teeth’

In 2013, Caroline Shaw won the Pulitzer Prize for Music for her Partita for 8 Voices, making her the youngest winner ever. The jury was astonished by this a cappella work in which eight singers both sing and extend the vocabulary of singing by speaking, panting and humming. Now you have a one-off opportunity to hear this groundbreaking composition for the first time in Brussels, performed by the prestigious Roomful of Teeth. The American ensemble will also perform The Isle by Shaw and other works yet to be announced during this exciting musical evening.
