With Olivier De Schutter
Olivier De Schutter, professor at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL), was the United Nations special rapporteur on the right to food between 2008 and 2014. He currently co-chairs the International Panel of Experts on sustainable food systems (IPES-Food), which studies innovations in agro-food systems in order to prepare recommendations for international agencies and governments.
At this conference, he will speak about the movement for urban food policies, starting out from the example of Brussels and the attempt to improve the sustainability of its food.
