Come play video games at Bozar
The recommended minimum age for this activity is 10 years.
To bridge the gap between traditional art forms and contemporary digital stories, Bozar is launching Bozar Arcade. This project is designed to offer visitors a diverse range of interactive and immersive digital media art that not only entertains, but also inspires and challenges perceptions.
On the occasion of the Afropolitan Festival 2024, Bozar is inviting visual artist and graphic designer Laurent Mbaah aka Simlo to co-curate this first edition of the project. Through the selection of specific artistic video games, Laurent Mbaah proposes to reflect on the representation of African and afrodescendant bodies, cultures and spiritualities . Laurent Mbaah collaborates with Isabelle Arvers, author of "Decolonizing art and video games".
