Focus on performing arts
Art is vital in the Republic of Iran. The lively theatre scene is bursting at the seams and private theatres are popping up everywhere. Many Iranians consider the theatre an unconditional path to growth, a place where they can reflect on the status quo. You can see why in the plays of the younger generation, who often tend to link their personal history to that of their country. From 15 until 18 March, BOZAR has invited several innovative Iranian theatre producers and playwrights to Brussels. Find out more about the buzzing performing arts scene in today’s Iran!
Did you know that we will be serving delicious Iranian specialties before and after each performance? Have a taste before the show to get yourself in the mood, or enjoy some Iranian delicacies afterwards while reminiscing about the play.
