Fariborz Karimi - Bohemi Theater Group

A young actress takes on the role of Euripides’ Medea. She falls for a Polish man and decides to follow him to his native country, leaving her career behind. In Poland her life will develop unsettling parallels with that of the mythological sorceress. Medea by Fariborz Karimi is a haunting variation on one of the most heart-wrenching plays in the history of theatre. Karimi already has several productions under his belt, including I can’t imagine tomorrow, which was performed in the Netherlands, India, Spain, Bulgaria and Tehran. In 2011, he founded the Bohemi Theater Group and ‘Theatricultural Exchange Residency’ in Tehran, a meeting place for young theatre directors and actors from around the world.
