Who better than Daniel Barenboim, an eminent interpreter of Beethoven's music, to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the German master? His passion for this figure and for his work is materialised with the release of a complete Beethoven collection by Warner Classics in 2016. Barenboim is coming to Brussels accompanied by the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra to perform the timeless Fifth Symphony and the Third Piano Concerto, which he will conduct from his piano. With this unique orchestra, bringing together musicians from Israel, the Arab world, Turkey, Iran and Europe, Daniel Barenboim invites us to experience a moment of unity and to share Beethoven's ideal of universal brotherhood.
