Encuentro

“A musician creates a world  of his own, through his travels and his encounters with other musicians”, says the guitarist Patricio Grande, revealing the true essence of flamenco. In the days of the cafés cantantes, musicians from all over the world would gather and perform music together. The outcome: all kinds of fusions, which enhance and change the nature of flamenco. The Spanish, Belgian, Latin American and French musicians who will take to the stage for this event blend jazz, classical music and folk to create a new form of flamenco. Esteban Murillo and Cecile Evrot sing, while Marisol Valderrama dances.
