Brussels jazz Orchestra feat. Ryan Truesdell - SOLD OUT!

Gil Evans had a huge impact on the legacy of jazz. As a composer, pianist and band leader, the Canadian musician helped steer the course jazz would take from the 1940s to the 1980s. Nobody could equal the influence exerted on Miles Davis. It is safe to call Evans the greatest jazz arranger of all time. He made arrangements for a wide range of music, from classical to the rock of Jimi Hendrix. Ryan Truesdell is an indisputable Gil Evans specialist, paying tribute to the jazz maestro with a project that culminated in Centennial, an album featuring Evans’ compositions and arrangements recorded for the first time. Together with the BJO, Truesdell is giving us the opportunity to rediscover the best of Evans.
