The star guitarist Miloš Karadaglić has cherished a profound admiration for baroque music since his early teens, describing it as ‘flamboyant’, ‘timeless’ and ‘extremely lyrical’. In his opinion, past arrangements of baroque music have been overly focused on Johann Sebastian Bach. So he has spent the last few years exploring the extensive repertoire of great composers such as Vivaldi, Marcello and Rameau, creating idiosyncratic transcriptions of baroque hits for his beloved guitar. Along with the renowned British baroque ensemble Arcangelo, Karadaglić reveals his uniquely refreshing interpretation of famous works from this rich period of music history.
