‘Love is Louder Festival | Love Brunch: “Tango, mon Amour!”’

15 Dec.'24
- 10:00

TANGO... Love story, drama, joy, sadness, humour, passion, intimacy... Above all, Music with a capital M. Having undergone many transformations - first taking its roots in Angola and influenced by the Italian canzonetta, the klezmer, the French chanson, Jazz and classical music - tango seduced the European continent from its arrival in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. With Tango, mon Amour! the pianist Maria Martinova writes a "love letter" to the riveting world of Tango. On the occasion of the Belgian launch for her new eponymous album she is joined by three dazzling artists - the actor Pietro Pizzuti and the dancers Céline Ruiz and Diego Amado - to celebrate some of its great maestros, past and present: Salgán, Bardi, Trípodi, Cuacci, Piazzolla, and the poets Borges and Ferrer.

The tango couple will translate the genre to the dance floor. The audience will sit in between and enjoy a delicious brunch in the meantime.

Tickets for Love Brunch are sold per table of two. The concert starts at 11h30.
