Compose a piece of music while playing a game of skittles: If we believe the myth, this is precisely what Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart did. He composed the trio for clarinet, viola and piano for the daughter of his friend, Franziska von Jacquin, who played the piano score for the first time. Robert Schumann transports us to a fairy tale atmosphere, as does Jörg Widmann in his work Es war einmal… This versatile musician plays his own composition with the German violist Tabea Zimmermann and Hungarian pianist Dénes Várjon.
