Four years after the sensational discovery of the Higgs boson, CERN is about to embark upon a remarkable new experiment.  Ten thousand scientists from all over the world will work together on a project involving the biggest machine ever built by man. The experiment is at the same time a journey to the furthermost bounds of time and matter.  As the new CERN experiment progresses in its exploration of the mysterious energy which brings the universe to life, scientists and artists lead us to this shadow line where science and art go in search of truth and beauty, each in their own individual way.
