‘Exergue - on documenta 14 by Dimitris Athyridis’

14 → 17
Nov.'24

The Documenta in Kassel is the world's largest contemporary art event held every five years in Germany. With Exergue – on documenta 14, Greek filmmaker Dimitris Athiridis meticulously documented the preparation of the 14th edition of the event. Spanning 14 hours, this artistic epic takes the form of an art thriller, revealing the inner workings of contemporary art, institutions, and cultural policies through its process of creation, fraught with doubts, inevitable tensions, and daring risks.

This courageous journey, which faced considerable criticism and might remain misunderstood without this compelling epic film, is not to be missed during its four-evening screening at the Brussels Art Film Festival.

Please note, only 20 combi tickets for the four-evening screenings are available. First come, first served!
