‘Equinox’

Twice a year, the days and nights are equal all over the world. Whether it is the Persian New Year called Nowruz, the Indian National New Year, or the Jewish Passover and Christian Easter, the vernal or spring equinox, a key moment in the various calendars, has a symbolic or spiritual significance. On this occasion, Bozar and Klarafestival will present a weekend dedicated to sacred music from various cultures. From the songs of Hildegard of Bingen to Persian Sufi music, Indian Raga, Corsican polyphonies, Finnish folk songs and jazz improvisation, celebrate the equinox through timeless meditative moments.
