‘Dreaming & Dying by Nelson Yeo’

Three friends get together for the first time in years. Each of them sets out to confess hidden feelings, but their holiday takes a surprising turn when their past lives threaten to resurface.

This film is being screened at Bozar as part of our program Our Burning World: Love is Louder, which features a series of films for those looking to explore love in all its forms.

Nelson Yeo graduated with a BFA in Digital Filmmaking from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore in 2011. He has participated in Berlinale Talents Tokyo (2014), BiFan Fantastic Film School (2015) and Locarno Filmmakers Academy (2018). His short films have been screened frequently at international film festivals. His first feature film, Dreaming & Dying, premiered at the Locarno Film Festival 2023. It was also part of New Directors/New Films 2024 at Lincoln Center and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
