‘Danish National Orchestra & Chorus’

The highly regarded Scottish composer and conductor, James MacMillan is joining the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in a performance of his St Luke Passion, composed in 2013 in the wake of his St John Passion. Faith features prominently in the musical output of this devoted Catholic. The work is written for an adult choir interpreting the words of the Evangelist and Jesus' persecutors, and a children's choir, representing innocence and purity, singing the words of Christ.
