The conductor knows his subject like the back of his hand, this musical vision inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, composed by Monteverdi and staged for the first time in Venice in 1640. The Ghent-based conductor is back in the company of B’Rock with whom he recorded an excellent version of Handel’s Orlando and which he frequently conducts on stage.
