Wies de Boevé

Wies de Boevé was the first Belgian double bass player ever to study at the Orchester-Akademie der Berliner Philharmoniker. He also studied at Lucerne University and is a member of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. He performed at the Stars of the White Nights festival in St Petersburg alongside a few fellow musicians from the Mariinsky Theater … These incredible facts won’t have failed to convince you to go and see Wies de Boevé at work at BOZAR, where he is accompanied on the piano by Tomoko Takahashi from Japan, who lives in Berlin and is passionate about helping young musicians develop their career.
