Building Bridges - Jiayan Sun
The Chinese pianist Jiayan Sun originally studied at the Central Music Conservatory in Beijing before moving to America in 2006. There he continued his studies at The Juilliard School in New York. He won a variety of international piano contests, including those of Leeds, Dublin and Cleveland. Sun has already performed in concert in North America, Europe and Asia, and is praised for his “revealing” (New York Times), “technically flawless, poetic and convincing” (Toronto Star) piano playing.
