Bozar Arcade is back for its 3rd edition! This edition focuses on one major game in the field. Third World: The Bottom Dimension was created by Gabriel Massan.
The video game a journey into a fantastical and thought-provoking proposal, inviting visitors to navigate a new world through lenses of decolonialism and decentralisation. Third World: The Bottom Dimension reflects self-representation challenges and makes us rethink the ways in which we understand and orient ourselves in the world.
Gabriel Massan is a multidisciplinary digital Brazilian artist born in 1996, today based in Berlin. They have a strong interest in Latin-American culture and questions of inequalities, marginalization, and the subversion of traditional narratives.

The game was commissioned and produced by Serpentine Arts Technologies, in association with the Julia Stoschek Collection, and powered by Tezos.
