‘Belgica Karadenizliler Dernegi’

The Belgica Karadenizliler Folklor Dernegi troupe present the dances of the Black Sea region. The artists generally perform horons, very rapid dances that celebrate ritual events such as weddings, military honours and public entertainment. They are accompanied on the kemençe, a kind of three-stringed lyre played with a bow.
