‘Beethoven Pianoforte sessions: Marijn Delaere’

Listen to Beethoven’s music as it would have sounded in its day! The Beethoven Pianoforte Sessions, part of the HOTEL BEETHOVEN exhibition, offer the audience the subtle sounds of the fortepiano, the ancestor to the modern piano. As the penultimate part of this series we meet Marijn Delaere. In addition to an early Beethoven sonata, he introduces you to Jan Ladislav Dussek, a Czech composer who already impressed audiences before Beethoven with his keyboard skills.
