‘Artists #withRefugees’

On Monday 20 June, Ancienne Belgique is playing host to a charity concert initiated by the Brussels Jazz Orchestra. It will share the stage with Tutu Puoane, David Linx, Brussels Vocal Project, I Solisti del Vento and five soloists from the Syrian Big Band, an orchestra which is currently in exile. On the programme, Two Small Bags, Ten Million Dreams, a composition on the theme of refugees by Frank Vaganée based on a text by Michael De Cock. The concert will be presented by Phara de Aguirre. All the proceeds will be given to the Music Fund charity which organises training courses for musicians and music schools in conflict-affected countries.
