The Artemis Quartett is one of the leading present-day string quartets. Its mentors include legendary quartets, such as the Alban Berg Quartet, the Julliard String Quartet and the Emerson Quartet. Artemis is joining forces for this concert with an artist of equal status in the world of piano: Anna Vinnitskaja.

We have just been informed that the pianist Maria João Pires will sadly no longer be able to participate in the Artemis Quartett tour this February. We are, however, pleased to announce that the pianist Anna Vinnitskaja will be stepping into her shoes for the concert at BOZAR on 24 February 2017. The members of the quartet are very much looking forward to performing Schumann’s Piano Quintet, op. 44 in her company.
