‘Antwerp Symphony Orchestra’

The 27-year-old Israeli Lahav Shani has already had an amazing career so far: he was appointed guest conductor of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, principal guest conductor of the Wiener Symphoniker, and is now poised to become the principal conductor of the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest during the 2018-2019 season! The dream-like, fantastic programme he has created for the Antwerp orchestra feature two masterpieces of the 19th century and one of the finest 20th century violin concertos: Dutilleux's L’arbre des songes (Tree of Dreams), one of Renaud Capuçon's favourite pieces.
