On 21 July, we open our doors and invite you to visit our exhibitions freely, including Vivian Maier. The Self-Portrait and its Double. It will be your last chance to see the fascinating images of the American street photographer before our summer closure.
At 3 pm the Belgian artist Els Dietvorst will personally take you on a guided tour through her exhibition This is what you came for – this free tour includes a visit to the second location of the exhibition, the CENTRALE for Contemporary Art in downtown Brussels.
Another gift for the National Day is an exclusive preview of the Mies van der Rohe Awards exhibition on 21 July, the only day it will be open to the public before we close for the summer. Take advantage of this opportunity, as the official opening of this exhibition, which honours architectural excellence, will not take place until 16 August, when we resume our activities.
Can't make it? Then Bozar is coming to you! Our traditional Prelude Concert which takes place at Bozar on 20 July will be broadcast on TV. You can see the entire concert by the Belgian National Orchestra with violinist Stella Chen, laureate of the Queen Elisabeth Competition 2019, on July 21 at 2 pm on één.
