Chantal Akerman. Travelling accompanies the exhibition dedicated to Chantal Akerman (Brussels 1950 – Paris 2015), first at Bozar, and later at the Jeu de Paume in Paris. The book explores the various mediums and locations of her work. It invites filmmakers, artists, and writers from several generations, whether or not they have personally engaged with her work, but all of whom have been influenced by it, from Brussels to Mexico, via Paris. The publication consists of stories, poetry, conversations, and daydreams, in words and/or images. These words and images are situated within the context of the exhibition.
