Founded in 1994, the Moldavian band Zdob și Zdub are happy to describe themselves as ethno-rockers. They play at the crossroads of urban music and the rural spirit where traditional Moldavian and Romanian music blend with the modern sounds of hip-hop,  drum'n'bass, jungle or punk. Their international renown has meant they have got to work with bands such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, Rage Against The Machine, Soulfly and Linkin Park. Having represented Moldavia several times at the Eurovision Song Contest, they have already performed in around 20 European countries. Impressing their audiences on each occasion with the originality of their music and the visual quality of their shows. With some 20 albums to their credit, Zdob si Zdub have become one of the best ambassadors of Moldavian music and an international reference for the genre
