‘Wör - About Towers’

​​​​​​​WÖR inject new energy into old music with great abandon. On their recent album Over Torens, they turn their attention to carillon music. They have unearthed melodies from Belgium's carillon manuscripts and arranged them for the tight tempo work of the guitar and baritone saxophone, the riffs of the accordion, the drones of the bagpipes and the melodic tones of the violin. This playful approach to an old repertoire met with unanimous praise in the national and international press. The quintet is now impatient to take to the stage and to share their album with a live audience for the first time.
