A playful music performance about and with 3 special musicians
Ed is an inventor who you will usually find sitting in a corner while tinkering with his own instruments. Andreea plays the viola beautifully and reads complicated scores as if they were fairy tales. And James? James, improvises and roams with his bass clarinet like an explorer through a labyrinth of sound. Once, like you and me, they were children, but now they make music together.
Wires, Strings & Other Things is a lively, playful musical performance. Conceived and created by Brian Irvine and Wouter Van Looy, it is about playing music, composing and improvising, but also about being a child and having dreams. But everything starts with pricking up your ears and listening to sound.
