‘Winter concert: À la vie, à la mort’

À la vie, à la mort is a comforting family show exploring the beauty of grief and the indissoluble love that binds us. The Belgian National Orchestra offers solace and joy with a selection of orchestral music by Purcell, Khachaturian, and Saint-Saëns, arias by Mozart... and even pieces by Sinatra and Brel.

"Do you believe in life after death?"
"Yes?" - Anna said - "It makes me less afraid."
"Oh, then I do too," - Emile said.

With À la vie, à la mort - Voor altijd, singer and stage director Helene Bracke aims to put an end to the taboo of grief and absence forever. Actor Anatoli Akerman (Cirque du Soleil, Circus Roncalli, Walt Disney), with his refined clowning, strikes a perfect balance between sorrow and entertainment, between mourning and laughter.
