‘William Kentridge’

2015 is a special year for Europalia: the festival has been around for 45 years and will be celebrating its 25th edition. As part of this anniversary celebration, Europalia invites the famous South African artist William Kentridge to give a lecture-performance at BOZAR. The artist will provide insights into the process that propels his artistic creation. Kentridge is already well-known to the Brussels community, who had the chance to discover his play Ubu and the Truth Commission at BOZAR last December.

To mark its anniversary, Europalia has commissioned a film from the directors Marie-Françoise Plissart and Jacques André. Tonight you’ll get to see the première of E25.
