A panel of experts from the Culture and Political industries will discuss their personal experiences regarding the use of Culture as diplomacy. How effective is culture as a form of diplomacy on the world stage? Does culture have the power to change the world?

Organised jointly by Inspiring Culture and EUNIC Brussels, ‘Who do you think we are?’ is a programme of 4 events held in parallel to the Brussels staging of the China-EU sculpture exhibition ‘Dialogue With Emperor Qin’.
The event programme reflects an ambition by Inspiring Culture to build upon the themes present in the exhibition working to develop a current and much needed discourse about cultural exchange between the EU and the International Community. The programme of events form a platform for active dialogue between visitors, institutions, artists, academics and the local community.

In September 2017 the touring sculpture exhibition “Dialogue With Emperor Qin” will be shown in Brussels at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. The exhibition will continue until October 31st.
“Dialogue With Emperor Qin”, features the work of 28 European artists and 3 Chinese artists. It made its premier at the Shaanxi Art Museum, Xi'an in January 2012 and during the last four years has made a tour of 8 Chinese and 5 European museums. The exhibition was featured as part of the EU 2012 Year of Intercultural Dialogue with China and was awarded an official event label.
Created in 2012 and through its staging around the world, the exhibition continues to build relationships, nurture understanding and provide an open platform for the dialogue between and about different cultures.
