‘What Future for Arts Festivals?’

Arts festivals showcasing live artistic presentations faced a major impact due to the pandemic. As we emerge out of the pandemic-stricken phase, the model of the arts festivals is being reassessed, with newer ways of working in the arts. Slow mobility, impact of festivals on environment and need for deeper cultural exchange are being discussed at local, national and international levels.
