The composer Walter Hus works with pipes, cables, organs and automated instruments.  The film immerses us in different places as we go in search of his sound explorations. Accompanied by his new orchestra, the artist abandons himself to previously unknown musical experimentations in an atmospheric film which oscillates between the past and the avant-garde.

De Lola à Laila is a manifesto, the expression of a commitment, of an evolving thought. The work recounts the history of a generation of women through the experiences of the filmmaker’s mother during the civil war and the years of Francoism. References to this era are constantly juxtaposed with the director’s interrogations about her political or cinematic commitment.
