Agora Urban Master Class with Fatima Zibouh
The cultural and artistic expression of urban youth reveals the multicultural and political changes. They serve as sounding boards in their relationship to the city. Do they foster an identity based on ethnicity rather than place? In a context in which urban cultures are managed by monolingual cultural policies, how do artists interact with cultural policies in a multicultural and multilingual space like Brussels?
Fatima Zibouh is a researcher and political scientist at the CEDEM (Centre for Ethnicity and Migration Studies) at the University of Liege.
