‘Toestand’

Kristien De Proost takes stock of herself. Surrounded by glass boxes, golden glitter shoes, a chain saw and a school uniform she describes her body and her mind, her small toes and her big fantasies. In figures and words she presents her life, even the embarrassing moments. “Toestand is no limp testimony-monologue but a feat of strength” writes Geert Van Der Speeten in De Standaard. The performance was selected for the 2013 Theatre Festival.
