‘Tim Hecker’

Tim Hecker also returns for the second time to BEAF. The Canadian composer has just released one of the most anticipated ambient electronic albums of the year, Love Streams, on the iconic 4AD label. His approach over the years, and his many releases and collaborations (including with Ben Frost, Oneohtrix Point Never and Aidan Baker) has placed him as a leading figure in ambient electronic music, with a very open spirit and ever evolving sonic palette. Within his huge and majestic sound, he integrates organs, field-recordings, voices and multilayers of reverb and resonance. He will present his new album in the Henry Le Boeuf hall, with an adapted scenography involving fog and light designed by conceptual artist Marcel Weber aka MFO.
