Following its international hit Mile(s)tones about Miles Davis, Zonzo Compagnie has come up with a new production featuring another legendary jazz musician: Thelonious Monk! The stubborn genius Monk made music full of surprising harmonies and exciting rhythms. 

The musicians of the adventurous jazz trio De Beren Gieren whisk you away to the unique musical world of our New York jazz hero. In an impressive video decor with images by Nele Fack, they involve you in Thelonious’ compulsion to experiment and show you more and more new facets of this fascinating musician. Benjamin Vandewalle has directed a lively production and enticed the musicians to join in with a hilarious choreography.  

Ride this bebop train with the “Genius of Modern Music” and get right under Thelonious’ skin. There’s no saying where we will end up, but it’s sure to be a crazy ride!
