Originally from Bergen in Norway and currently based in Berlin, Telephones is a DJ and producer with a sound as complex as it is individual: a italo-ambiento-balearico-techno-house blend sprinkled with a healthy dose of field recording. Although he may have first started making music back in the late-90s, his debut album Vibe Telemetry was only released in 2016. It was worth the wait. A widely acclaimed piece of work, it has opened Telephones up to new musical pastures and wider audiences.
