‘Tableau avec Chutes - Claudio Pazienza’

A humorous film journal that is neither wholly intimate nor outrageously public. Your eyes will discover an exquisite painting and a cast of characters from an indescribable country. The painting is   Landscape with the fall of Icarus painted by Pieter Breughel circa 1555. The country is Belgium. Between the two, a director, the unemployed, psychoanalysts, philosophers, party presidents, and a prime minister who constantly ask the question: What does looking actually signify? A question with multiple ramifications to which the film seeks to answer simply and with the complicity of a guest of honour: Icarus in person.
