‘Syrians Got Talent’ is an extraordinary group of Syrian musicians who fled their war-torn country and made it to Europe in 2015-2016. They believe that artistic responses to the violence help transform the trauma and highlight the resilience of Syrian civilians.

With support from the European Union, the concert will help to put Syrian people back on the agenda, highlighting their resilience and empowering them to tell their own stories. The concert will take place on the eve of the second Brussels international conference on Supporting the Future of Syria and the region.

During the concert the ensemble will play a mix of oriental and Western music, from Rachid Taha to Jacques Brel, in Arabic, French and English. East meets West on stage and through dialogue. The musicians will engage with the audience and will share their stories and dreams for the future.
The concert is part of Tourab: Syria Art Space (17- 27 April), a ten day pop-up Syrian artistic and cultural space in Galerie Ravenstein. Showcasing the Syrian cultural scene through exhibitions, debates, performances, films, workshops in interactive formats.
