12 Dec.'17
- 19:30

With Erik Swyngedouw

Erik Swyngedouw (°1956, Hasselt) is professor of geography at the University of Manchester in the School of Environment, Education and Development. He has published over a hundred papers in leading academic journals analyzing contemporary capitalism, economic globalization, regional development, finance and urbanisation.

At BOZAR, he will discuss the emergence and consolidation of a post-political and populist urban environmental vision that a number of authors have defined. He will conclude with a plea to re-politicize the urban environmental question and urban socio-ecological transition.
