‘Susana Santos Silva, Margarida Garcia & Seppe Gebruers’

In Susana Santos and Margarida Garcia, we welcome two great women from Portugal's exciting free jazz scene. This is the first time they have worked together and Bozar asked pianist Seppe Gebruers to complete the line-up. After all, is he not the successor to that legendary generation of free jazz musicians that produced such notable figures as Fred Van Hove and Mischa Mengelberg? The imaginative and energetic piano sounds of this major talent combined with the free spirit of Susana and Margarida guarantees some unbridled playing pleasure. Expect some hard edges but also some brief, picturesque sketches.
