BOZAR and MAD Brussels are the driving forces behind the multidisciplinary festival Summer of Fashion, taking over different locations in the capital and exploring the intersection between fashion and fine arts.
For this occasion, Café Costume presents a new collection of limited linings in collaboration with 9 Belgian artists, hailing from all provinces, in which fashion meets graphic design.
Collaborating artists: Alice Janne, Carll Kneut, Debora Lauwers, Dennis Tyfus, Fanny Vanmansart, Floris Verbeeck, Hell’O Monsters, La Villa Hermosa and Musketon.
We invite you to join us at the presentation of the linings and the original works at Bozar. The artists will be present and available for interviews.

ARTIST TALK @ V+ 2014-2015: SIMON BOUDVIN

The French visual artist Simon Boudvin (1979, Bagnolet) is presenting a selection of his work in the exhibition V+ 2014-2015. He trained as an architect and sculptor and studied, amongst others, at the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture. His work primarily involves photography and sculptures. In the exhibition space he explains his contribution to the V+ design for the Folklore Museum in Mouscron. He raises questions about heritage and carries out an in-depth examination into the materials used or absent in the project. What goes and what remains?
