‘Suliko’

The Suliko vocal and instrumental ensemble is made up of soloists from the Tbilisi opera and ballet. From 5th-century Georgian masterpieces to modern composers, via the epic poetry of the late Middle Ages, they take us on a veritable voyage through the history of Georgian music, with a focus on the polyphonic song that is recognised by UNESCO as part of humanity's intangible cultural heritage.
