‘SPECIAL SCREENING: ZAMA - LUCRECIA MARTEL’

End of the century. The Corregidor don Diego de Zama, all alone in The Gran Chaco, is hoping for a letter from the viceroy of Río de la Plata informing him of his transfer to Buenos Aires. Suffering from being so far away from his family, the boredom of life as a civil servant and the lack of recognition from his superiors, he loses patience and gets involved in a hopeless endeavour.

The screening will be followed by a discussion around the film ZAMA with Lucrecia Martel (film director) and Felipe Santos (Instituto Cervantes's director).
