BOZAR Cinema and Instituto Cervantes present SPAIN ON FILM, a yearly-sample of the best of recent Spanish cinema. We will enjoy the 2017 Goya Award (the Spanish Film Awards) for Best Picture, Un monstruo viene a verme, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, and La próxima piel, by Isaki Lacuesta, with actress Emma Suárez, who this year won the two Goya Awards for Best Female Actress:  Supporting Role Award for this film and Best Actress Award for Julieta (Pedro Almodóvar). One of the great surprises has been Verano 1993, the debut by the young director Carla Simón, who has been awarded at the last Berlinale as the Best First Film of the year. El Bosco. El jardín de los sueños, by José Luis López Linares, is a documentary that go deeper into the famous picture of this Dutch painter. And Mauro Herce's Dead Slow Ahead is a thriller made as a documentary film, which won the Special Jury Prize at the Locarno International Film Festival.
